CLASS 5
LESSON 2 & 3
Hello!
We start class at the usual time. The teacher explained to us through teaching resources how the class was going to take place. For a better meaningful learning we carry out the following activities:
- Checking your blogs
- Relative pronouns; checking knowledge
- Dialogue practice
- Grammar practice
Yesterday, the teacher showed us some holidays that are celebrated around the world.
GOAL: Ask about local customs.
LESSON 2
Continuing with lesson 2, we begin with an exercise on relative clauses (subject relative clauses). Then with the reading of the dialogue between two people, read by my classmates.

SUBJECT PRONOUN OR OBJECT PRONOUN?
Subject and object pronouns cannot be distinguished by their forms - who, that, which, that are used for subject and object pronouns. You can, however, distinguish them as follows:If the relative pronoun is followed by a verb, the relative pronoun is a subject pronoun. Subject pronouns must always be used.the apple which/that is lying on the table is mineIf the relative pronoun is not followed by a verb (but by a noun or pronoun), the relative pronoun is an object pronoun. Object pronouns can be omitted.the apple (that) George lay on the table is his.The dish that I ordered was delicious. ( subject or object relative clause?)The man that came with her has already left.
