 UNIT 4: CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES

Hi, lovers and not so lovers of English!

We start the meeting by Microsoft Teams at 7 a.m in the usual time. For 1 hour, the teacher checked our blogs and she also made observations. At 8 a.m., we start a new unit.
Activities in this unit are:
  • Get in groups of 4 and prepare a debate about any controversial topic that you like. 2 participants express pros and the other two express cons using the vocabulary studied. Record the debate and send the link to Teams files.

LESSON 2 & 3

Today we start with the question, Do you mind talking about politics?
We begin the class with a review of the third conditional.

GOALS:  Discuss controversial issues politely & Debate the pros and cons of issues.
